Grammy Award winners Eric Tingstad and Nancy Rumbel perform virtuoso American finger-style guitar and beautiful melodic woodwinds inspired by music from America, Asia, the British Isles and Spain. The music speaks to the heart, embraces relationships to the natural world with connections to various traditions and deep feelings of inner peace. Understated, yet powerful, the artists and the music encourage an appreciation for community and stewardship.
Tingstad and Rumbel have performed, recorded and touring together for over 22 years with 19 albums to their credit. Traveling to as many as 70 concert venues a year, they are friends who enjoy each other's company and truly love making music.
Eric and Nancy began their collaboration in1985. Their debut album, The Gift, quickly became a holiday classic. The next 20 years saw countless reviews including The New York Times, The Washington Post, Billboard and number one debuts on radio charts. In 1998, American Acoustic was honored as "Acoustic Instrumental Album of the Year." A Carnegie Hall appearance in 2000. And in 2003 they received a Grammy Award for "Acoustic Garden."

A Rootstime review calls this former Pennsylvania steelworker a “Brilliant Guitarist” with an “Excellent Voice” and says his song, 'Lost' produces "Goose Bumps". A performing songwriter & accomplished finger-style & slide guitarist also noted for playing Dobro, mandolin and harp, Angelo M. (short for Melasecca) is emerging on the music scene after a steel mill bankruptcy that cost him his pension. Drawing on influences from Ry Cooder, Chet Atkins, Duane Allman and Leo Kottke, Angelo M. is casting a strong impression with his guitar virtuosity and eclectic roots mix. His all original Debut CD, Far From Home received FM airplay across the US (130+ stations in 40 states) and parts of Europe and Japan; two of his songs are featured in a PBS TV Series; and he won an Honorable Mention in both the prestigious “Mountain Stage” NewSong Contest, and Billboard’s song contest. Angelo’s appeared on several radio programs including the Nationally syndicated, River City Folk and The Folk Show on Philadelphia’s WXPN; he’s performed at many festivals and noted venues like the Legendary Godfrey Daniels & World Café Live. He received a standing ovation at the Johnstown Folk Fest and is making quite an impression on the Blues scene with performances at the
Atlanta Blues & Music Festival and the Kalamazoo Blues Festival where reviews called his performance “Powerful” and “One of the Highlights”. In 2008 along with performing at a number of festivals and venues across the US Angelo M. will make his Canadian Debut and release a new CD. More at www.angelom.com or www.myspace.com/angelo-m
