Music Bio
Janna MacAuslan has been teaching since 1968. She holds a Master's
Degree in Classical Guitar Performance from Lewis & Clark. She has
toured with "Musica Femina", the flute and guitar duo, since 1984.
She is a recording artist with 2 CD's. In addition to her strong teaching
background in classical guitar, she has written several folk guitar method
books, including a new one on the blues. In her spare time she loves the
banjo.
Janna is a seasoned and well respected
teacher in the Portland community who enjoys working with her students to
provide a truly positive learning experience that is focused on the elements
the student wants to learn and makes it fun in the process!
