Kevin is currently accepting new students!

Kevin is a fun, friendly and patient teacher and has been making the world more musical for the past 15 years. He has been teaching for 8 years and believes that music lessons should be fun as well as educational.

Kevin teaches beginning students and the more advanced guitarist. His unique approach allows the beginning student to play the guitar right away. He creates a comfortable atmosphere and tailors the lesson to meet the student’s needs. Kevin is known for his versatility and covers a wide variety of styles. He specializes in music theory, technique, fundamentals, interpretation, and learning specific songs the student is interested in.

Kevin is a graduate of McNally-Smith College of Music, where he majored in Guitar Performance and Studio Performance, and received the Award for Outstanding Musical Achievement in the field of Guitar. While in college, he was the teaching assistant for the head of the music theory department, instructing students in music fundamentals and jazz & pop harmony. Kevin has also played and performed with numerous accomplished musicians and a variety of groups and ensembles.

Nothing is more gratifying to him than to pass on to others the joy that music brings!
