THANK YOU to all who came out for our benefit on Valentine's day, and all who made donations. We raised $7400 - an amazing show of support from our Artichoke community. 30 muisicians performed, donating their time and talent. Numerous volunteers helped by bringing food, working the bar, working the door, running the sound board, and many other tasks. We couldn't have done it without all of you who volunteered! The room was packed the whole time, and the audience and performers were wonderful.

This outpouring of support gets Artichoke out of its immediate crisis. We still have a way to go to be on totally solid ground again, but this is a huge help, and we're grateful beyond expression. Friends of Artichoke is planning on-going events to continue to support Artichoke music; if you'd like to volunteer, contact Matt Meighan (matt@mattmeighan.com).

(Note: this supports Artichoke's facility -- concert hall, music school and shop -- rather than the non-profit Artichoke Music Foundation, so donations are not tax-deductible).
